Hidden Treasure is a four-bedroom, three and a half bathroom four season lakefront cottage situated on a private property made for entertaining with a 275 foot stretch of waterfront.
Offering a split-level living space with south facing lake views from the huge multi-level walkout deck. Entering through the cottage front door, guests first experience an inviting and cozy space. The first bedroom located on the main level offers a King bed with a three-piece ensuite. Further along is an additional three-piece bathroom as well as three more spacious bedrooms each with a Queen-sized bed.
Just off of the main-floor laundry room you will find an additional two-piece bathroom.
The centre piece of Hidden Treasure is the living and dining room equipped with hardwood floors and large windows allowing natural light to bounce throughout. This room contains one couch and three chairs for relaxing by the large stone fireplace enjoying family time or nestled in with a good book and a glass of wine. Just off to the main entrance is the kitchen and dining area. The large dining table seats eight comfortably and guests can take advantage of the kitchen's four bar chairs and six-person breakfast table for extra seating. The kitchen is equipped with stunning arborite countertops and stainless-steel appliances; a fridge, stove, microwave, dishwasher, and all materials needed for the preparation, cooking and presentation of that much anticipated evening meal with the family.
The sliding patio doors in the kitchen and living room open up to a large split-level deck where the barbecue and six-person patio set is located along with four classic Muskoka chairs for lounging in the sun. This sun-soaked deck is the perfect outdoor entertaining space and offers the best lakeside views that the cottage provides.
Down the winding staircase will bring you to a walkout lower level to the waterfront below, where your third three-piece bathroom is located. Downstairs is where all the fun happens: the Family room features 3 comfortable couches perfect for board games or cozying up on movie nights with a large flat-screen Tv.
A walk down the wooden staircase across the large grassy lawn leads to the ideal swimming and activity area with a firepit for evening wind-down time by the water. The 16x32 foot dock provides guests with an additional picnic table for lunch on the water and access to fifteen-foot depth at the end giving ideal swimming conditions.
Provided with the rental of Hidden Treasure is the use of two kayaks and one canoe for fun waterfront activities. Enjoy all seasons here at the cottage, with boat access right into Downtown Huntsville, a 4 chain lake system. Hidden Valley Ski Resort, Deerhurst golf course, and Arrowhead park just minutes away. For winter enthusiasts, downhill skiing is available at Hidden Valley Highlands Ski Area while groomed snowshoe trails, x-country skiing trails and skating are available at Arrowhead and Algonquin Provincial Parks.
