The Muskoka Room is located on the west side of the cottage, it is a 30' x 15' screened in sanctuary of cozy comfort with seating for nine and a second dining area with bench seating for eight around a custom pine table. With its charming Muskoka decor, this will be a favourite room to relax in and reflect on a day of play in Muskoka.
The living-room with its wood fireplace and comfortable seating for eight is an entertainment paradise with board games galore and a 42" TV with satellite as well as; DVD, VCR, and CD players.
Overlooking the living-room is the open-concept kitchen and dining-room with a custom-built butternut table with seating for eight. The gourmet kitchen is fully-equipped with a fridge, stove, microwave, dishwasher, coffeemaker, and all the tools needed to prepare scrumptious meals. There is a full-sized washer/dryer on the main level.
The Master bedroom with its striking view and queen-size bed and ensuite, is located on the upper floor. Rest in comfort and enjoy the views in queen-size beds in the "Blue" bedroom and the "Green" bedroom. The fourth bedroom on the main floor has a set of bunk beds. There are 2 bathrooms in the cottage: the four-piece bathroom on the main floor has natural slate floors and a long vanity with rustic barn wood cabinet doors. The three-piece ensuite is located off the Master Bedroom on the upper floor.
The soft, hot tub is a great feature and an awesome way to unwind after a long day of outdoor fun in the sun. The hot tub can be made available for guests vacationing during the spring, summer and fall. It can be added to the rental for an additional $200.00 per week.
Lounge in Muskoka chairs and dream the hours away on the 40' x 20' lakeside deck. Take a break from the sun in the new gazebo right at the waterfront. When the sun goes down, gather around the fire pit and roast marshmallows while sharing stories. With 150' of waterfront, there will be no shortage of outdoor fun. Jump or cannonball off the 40' L-shaped dock or for those who like to ease into their swim, there is a small sandy bottom entry area that drops off to 30' deep water.
The cottage has a southern exposure with all-day sun. Rise with the sun for the first catch of the day or go for a spin in the paddleboat and a leisurely paddle in the canoe or kayak at sunset. Dock your motorboat and take pleasure in boating for 10kms on the lovely Muskoka River. Launch your motorized pride and joy directly across the river.
Located 15 minutes from Bracebridge, the cottage is close to restaurants, quaint shops, food, pharmacy, LCBO and a hospital. Enjoy a trip by taking a cruise on the Lady Muskoka on beautiful Lake Muskoka or the RMS Segwun in Gravenhurst and Casino Rama is only a 45 minute drive.
For winter fun the cottage has full access to OFSC snowmobile trails and is a 45 minute drive to either Hidden Valley or Sir Sam's downhill ski hills.
