This luxury cottage located between Burks Falls and Magnetawan in the beautiful Almaguin Highlands area offers year-round activities for families who enjoy spending time outdoors.

Besides the water activities there are trails located close by that offer bicycle and hiking trails in the summer and snowmobiling and cross country skiing in the winter.

When not out exploring all that the area has to offer, guests can enjoy the beautiful 242 ft. shoreline. Options to take it all in are endless, be it relaxing on the spacious wrap around deck that overlooks the water, playing with the kids at the beach which offers a gentle slope entry into a small clear sand bottom beach area, lounging in the water with your favourite swim noodle, fishing or swim from the dock or just wandering along the shoreline you will be sure to find a way to relax and connect with nature.

There are 2 canoes, 3 kayaks, a paddle board, and a paddle boat provided with oars for the fishermen in the group. If you choose a motor can be brought in for the boat so you can further explore the beautiful lake system which includes not only Lake Cecebe but you also have access to Ahmic Lake connected via a small lock system in the town of Magnetawan.

A southwest exposure provides all day sun through the day and incredible sunsets in the evening. The spacious yard provides lots of room for family activities and offers a horseshoe pit, tether ball, volleyball/badminton net, an old-fashioned swing, and even a rope over the lake to swing and splash into the water. There is fun for all ages.

Finish your day at the fire pit which overlooks the lake and has eight Muskoka chairs to relax in and catch the sunset. On the large deck you will find multiple seating areas and options. One area has the BBQ, a small high top bistro patio table with an umbrella and two chairs as well as a bench for seating. Down a couple of steps is another area with two chaise lounges, a larger patio table with an umbrella, and six chairs.

Opening on to the centre deck, is a large, gleaming kitchen with seating area for four. There is also a cozy little family room with seating for five, a wood burning fireplace and Satellite TV. This is just the spot for a quiet respite from all the family activities. Through this area is the formal dining room with a dining table and seating for six.

At the back of the house is the living room with comfortable seating for seven. Here there are lots of games, a shuffle board table, puzzles, books, movies and videos and another TV with DVD player.

On the main floor there is a 2-piece powder room. The master bedroom also conveniently located on the main floor boasts sliding doors onto the main deck providing a perfect view overlooking the water and is equipped with a queen-sized bed, and a four piece ensuite bathroom. The other three bedrooms are on the upper floor along with a 3-piece bathroom with a shower.

One bedroom has a queen-sized bed, and the other two bedrooms each have two single beds. Upstairs there is an open area overlooking the living room with a desk and chair if there is a business or school project to keep up with. There is also a small sitting room on this floor with a couch and day bed, a TV with a VCR and many, many movie titles in this format. This cottage is guaranteed to make wonderful family memories.
