Welcome to your Happy Place! This beautiful 3 bedroom cottage is located on Lake Vernon, just minutes away from the town of Huntsville, Ontario. With over 140 feet of waterfront, a large dock, a lawn and a sandy beach this cottage provides a lovely oasis away from the hustle and bustle but with everything you may need close by.   Upon entering the cottage, you will be invited with an open concept living room with fireplace, kitchen and dining area with seating for 8. The master bedroom is located on the main floor with a queen sized bed and walk out deck with a view of the lake. The other 2 bedrooms are located upstairs off the TV/sitting area along with the bathroom. The second bedroom has a double bed and the third has two twins. For extra company, the TV/sitting area has a double bed pull out couch.   Out front, you will find a beautiful lawn, perfect for lunch at the picnic table, a fire pit to enjoy the evening, a nice sandy beach perfect for the kids, a hammock by the water and a 12x32 foot dock great for sunning, swimming, fishing or to take out the canoe.   If you have had enough of the car, you can bike to town along Hunter’s Bay trail, or boat into the town centre and enjoy a bite at one of the many pubs and restaurants. For a day of adventure, you can boat across the lake to visit the ‘Pirate Island’ sandbar just by the mouth of the Big East River!   Happy Place provides you with your own place to rest and unwind, however if a day or night out is part of your agenda, the proximity to Huntsville is ideal and for a day of sightseeing, Algonquin Park is about an hour away.
