Outside you can linger over breakfast on the enclosed patio garden, before heading out for a stroll on the farm or by the pond, which is a wildlife haven.

You're placed just 2 miles from the Luxulyan Valley, rich in early industrial remains, as well as 7 miles from Charlestown Harbour, with tall ships, smaller traditional sailing craft and the Shipwreck Museum – both World Heritage Sites. Water activities abound at bustling Fowey, 8 miles away, and further up Fowey River at Lerryn within 6 miles. Locally, a path across two fields brings you to a charming village pub in Lanlivery, or for an extra-special evening, Lostwithiel just 3 miles away has a choice of fine dining.
