PSARAS BEACH ESTATE, BOUKARI, CORFU

Psaras is a small area nestling between the villages of Petriti and Mesongi very near Boukari. Totally unspoiled my mass tourism it can still offer a unique taste of Greek nature and hospitality. From your terrace you can watch local fishermen sailing by as the interupted views are spactacular. A family of dolphins is a common spectacle. Unfortunately the smell of the sea or the shrubs or the estate atmosphere can not be sensed from pictures or videos. There are numerous fine tavernas nearby right on the water edge. Nearest shops are either at Boukari 1 km away or at Mesongi 1 km away. Psaras taverna is just 1 km away and is dominated by another famous fish tavern. Petriti on the other side is a fishing village ,1,5 Km away with a few shops and tavernas. If you feel more adventurous you can always visit Mesonghi, a bustling little town with all amenities. Traditional and unspoiled village of Chlomos ,2 kms away,offers a real taste of Greece. Within 10 minutes drive you can reach Halikounas ,a protected unspoiled reserve ideal for kite and windsurfing. 25 minutes drive and you can reach the famous 18 hole Golf or Corfu town ,a Unesco World Heritage monument . Just across the property there is a small beach and a jetty. There are many choices for food in the sea front taverns, restaurants and snack bars, where you may taste excellent fresh fish and a variety of gorgeous local dishes, as well as of Greek and European taste. Swimming is possible at the beaches off the property and of the broader area.
