This is our personal home with our personal stuff and is not considered a full vacation rental. However, it's beautiful and available if you need a home away from home. The home is a living art gallery and library equipped with everything you need for a short term stay with much more comfort and privacy than a luxury hotel and for the same price you can fit the whole family, look out at the beautiful views of Los Angeles and surrounding mountain areas, cook in your own kitchen, FREE street parking , WiFi, Cable, peace and tranquility and only minutes away from Old Town Pasadena, Rose Bowl, and only 30 minutes from Downtown LA, Studio city, Hollywood and much more. The mountain and city views are amazing, and on a clear day you can see 50 miles to the the ocean and the sunsets views will blow you away. This home is filled with lots of love and numerous works of my own personal artwork and is literally a living art museum. PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING : Open office in the home is not included, so please respect the privacy of the open office and do not enter. No smoking, no shoes, no pets, no parties, no illegal activity of any kind, no unauthorized guests or 3rd Party bookings (ID and matching utility bill must be provided upon check in), do not make duplicate copies of the house key, do not move the furniture and do not remove any books. Please be respectful of the paintings and turn off all utilities TV, lights etc, when you are not home and lock the doors and windows when leaving. A late check out fee of $75 per hour up to a maximum 2 hour window will be accessed should you check out late and if your late check out should occur beyond 2 hours you agree to be charged equivalent to the nightly rate. All trashed must be bagged in plastic garbage bags and deposed of in the black trash cans, all recyclables can be deposited in the blue cans only . The property is located on a large lot and the listing does not include access to the separate private pool house, studios or our personal office within the home. Street parking only: Parking is on the street in which there is plenty of safe parking and no parking permits required. (Please park on the same side as the property). Pet Rules: Pet rules: Pets under 20lbs or less will be considered with a pet fee of $295 per pet and for pets greater than 20lbs and less than 60lbs add $40 and for hairy pets add $50, pets over 60lbs add $65. If you fail to disclose the weight or whether your pet is hairy or not, it will be assumed that your pet is over 20lbs and hairy and you will be charged according to the fee schedule. Please note: Summer in Southern California is ant season; you are not allowed to leave food out on the floor all day for your dog. You must feed and put the food away or you will attract ants. We will not be held responsible for your failure to follow the rules. In addition if you plan to leave your pet in the home all day with the AC running just for your pet's comfort then you will incur an additional daily cost of $35 a day. You must bring your own pet bedding, All animals must be potty trained and are absolutely not allowed to use the bathroom in the house, if it is discovered that you pet has use the bathroom on the rug or in the home an additional cleaning fee of $250 will apply plus replacement of run or other damaged items. Pets must use the bathroom in the designated are ONLY and not on the green grass. DESIGNATED AREA: is in front of the home on the dirt only, if your facing the home from the street, behind the fence where the tall grass and orange trees are located. All feces must be picked up and bagged and placed into the black trash can in the front of the home, failure to do so will result in an additional clean up fee of $195. NO animals are allowed on the furniture, in the bed or in the pool, if you fail to follow this rule you agree to pay an additional $495 for additional cleaning for the couches and furniture, $175 for sheet and duvet replacement, in addition you agree to pay $250 for pool backwash and filter cleaning and $130 for the cost of a plumber plus any additional fees that the damage may have caused. All terms, conditions and fees are agreed an as a condition of your acceptance of this lease agreement.
Please note for your protection and the protection of the property we have surveillance cameras on exterior and one camera inside of the children's room or middle bedroom.
Please note if the Police/LA County Sheriffs are called to our property for any reason concerning your behavior or the behavior of your guests, you agree the reservation will be immediately cancelled on your behalf without refund and you are to vacate the property immediately. This is considered an embarrassment and disruptive to our home and neighbors.
