This former sail loft has been converted to a comfortable and spacious holiday property for a small family or couple. Once standing ready by the quay to repair bulky fishing-boat sails, it's now your perfectly positioned holiday base in the heart of Polruan village, across the beautiful Fowey River harbour from Fowey village. You've easy access on foot to the picturesque Polperro Heritage Coast section of the South West Coast Path, and to many day trip destinations by car across South Cornwall.

As befits a sail loft, the floor space is generous and full use is made of this by the kitchen/dining room downstairs and the lounge on the first floor. Here you'll enjoy the cheerful bright colour touches, warm hues in furnishings and cosy rugs, and masses of sofa space for a quiet night in. On those cooler evenings, the feature cast iron wood burner will keep you toasty warm. Bedrooms have a calm colour palette and retro fabrics.

Within 100 metres there are cafes, shops and The Quay for ferry trips to Fowey with its speciality shops, restaurants and art galleries. By The Quay is the village beach and a welcoming inn. In Fowey, Readymoney Cove (a half-mile walk from the ferry) has views of Polruan across the harbour. Further afield, an 18-mile drive to see traditional wooden ships in Charlestown Harbour and Shipwreck Museum will transport you to the 18th century Age of Sail, or 2 miles further on, St Austell Brewery runs tours and tastings.
