Just a few steps from the water, enjoy our 4 bedroom/3 bath condo in Imperial Beach, one of San Diego’s best-kept secrets. Sleeps 8 comfortably + sofa bed. Ideal for family retreats or group of friends to relax, unwind, and long walks on the beach.
4 BR/3 Baths comfortably fit 8 in premium mattresses & bedding, + 2 in sleeper sofa. Master BR in main floor has cal king bed, ocean view balcony, TV/sound bar, fan, mirror closet doors. Upstairs Master BR has CKing bed, desk, TV. Ocean view room has queen bed, and third room has twin bed with trundle underneath. Kitchen equipped with all appliances & kitchenware, dishwasher, large refrigerator. Dining counter set + countertop bar in kitchen. Gas BBQ on front balcony. Condo is very bright and airy.
Unit is on the second and third floors of the building. There is no elevator. The third floor has the larger master bedroom. Front door entrance from the street and back entrance through garage door have stairs to main floor.
Guests have access to the entire condo and garage. The storage room on the third floor is off limits.
Kitchen: Large refrigerator with ice maker and water dispense, gas stove, microwave, dishwasher. Pots, pans, utensils, glassware included. Gas BBQ provided on balcony.
Parking: One car garage for compact car (although I did have a guest park a Range Rover), one additional space on driveway. Street parking is also available. Washer & dryer located in garage.
I welcome guests' questions ahead of their stay and if possible, will greet them when they arrive. I live nearby and am available for questions and/or any concerns.
One block from the new Marriott Hotel Pier South (with ocean view restaurant), a short walk from a variety of restaurants including the famous Tin Fish, the Imperial Beach Pier, a Wildlife Refuge and Estuary for hiking, and biking trails. Discover delicious restaurants just steps away from the front door, followed by a beautiful sunset walk on the sand.
Imperial Beach is located only a few minutes from downtown San Diego, Coronado, and the Mexican border. The world renowned San Diego Zoo and Sea World's Water Park are just 20 minutes away, as are several wineries featuring local California wines!
Eight blocks to grocery store and pharmacy.
When you book, I will give you a pass code for the front door lock, the code changes once you leave.
This home is not a party condo, but a retreat for families and groups looking to get away and enjoy the warmth of sun and sand with out paying huge luxury hotel bills!
House Rules
1. By agreeing to the terms of this booking we have created a de facto rental agreement. Your rental agreement provides for the number of occupants you stated and confirmed with us. No additional overnight guests are permitted.
2. We have created a beautiful environment for our guests. Please treat the home and its contents kindly and gently and keep it clean:
a. Please do not move furniture.
b. Restrict food to kitchen, dining table and balconies.
c. Please keep shoes, luggage, dirty/sticky hands, juice boxes, sun block, crayons and other items that stain off furniture and beds.
d. Flush toilet paper only. Use wastebasket for other items.
e. Only small amounts of table scraps can be put in garbage disposal.
f. We live near the beach but we kindly ask you to not bring it back into the home with you. Please change out of sandy clothes and rinse off sandy feet. There is a hose outside and there are special towels in the garage to wipe off sand before entering the unit.
3. Guests are responsible for charges for plumbing services to rectify clogs and dysfunctions due to improper or excessive disposal of items in toilets, sinks and garbage disposals. We review the property in depth after each guest and will never turn the home over to you with any pre existing issues. Please inform us upon arrival if you discover any problems and we will rectify immediately.
4. This is a non-smoking property, inside and out. Any evidence of smoking will result in at a damage claim or loss of security deposit to cover deep cleaning and smoke removal.
5. We love animals, but unless we've given explicit authorization, they are not allowed on the property. Any evidence of pets on property will result in at a damage claim or loss of security deposit to cover deep cleaning.
6. No parties or events including but not limited on the property without prior written consent of owners or manager. Additional charges will apply. Additionally, no guests other than the ones approved at time of booking will be permitted on property without express written authorization by owner.
7. As a courtesy to other guests, please clean the outdoor grill and tools immediately after each use.
8. We have provided high quality bath towels and bed linens. Please do not clean or mop up spills with them. Do not remove them from the property. We will wash them when you leave, but if you choose to launder, please treat soil with stain remover and wash white towels and linens separately from colored beach towels and personal items. No bleach! We deduct from security deposit for missing, damaged, stained or discolored towels and linens.
9. Please do not allow children to operate appliances. Note that cabinet doors, windows and other elements do not have child-safe/safety mechanisms.
10. Children under 21 years are not permitted on the property without direct adult supervision, either indoors or out. Children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult on the decks and make sure not to break decorations/statues that sit on the side table. Guests who do not supervise their children at all times do so at their own risk and hold owners harmless.
11. We inspect the house upon each party's departure and before house cleaning occurs. If you discover that something is broken or is not working, please inform us right away so we can repair or replace the item for you and before the next guests arrive.
12. Before checking out, please ensure dishware, cookware, cups, glasses and utensils have been washed, dried and returned to the cupboards.
13. Upon your departure, please close and lock doors and windows.
