Welcome to this lovely 1,500 sq. ft., 2 level, 4 bedroom cottage on one acre of land with a large expansive lawn leading down to the lake and 100 feet of waterfront.

In 2007, the current owner built this cottage himself with help from friends with interior design choices and manual labour. Needless to say, it was a labour of love and the reward was having a lakeside home away from home on peaceful Mirage Lake.

The cottage has a unique layout with the lower level having the open concept kitchen/dining/living area, along with 3 bedrooms and a 3-piece bathroom, while the upper level has the family/entertainment room, a master bedroom and a 3-piece bathroom.

All rooms are comfortably furnished throughout, on both levels, allowing plenty of space for the entire family to spread out and enjoy leisurely indoor time alone or together. Watch a movie in the lower level living room cuddled next to a wood stove fire or challenge each other to a ping pong game in the upper level family room. The bonus in either place is the wonderful lakeview backdrop from a wall of picture windows.

Mirage lake is a great lake to explore -  enjoy a peaceful paddleboat or head out in the canoe, especially in the morning as the mist rises off the lake, magical! This cottage is great for fishing enthusiasts as there are a number of weeds at the waterfront. 

For a short day trip, head into the historic town of Huntsville, about 20 minutes from the cottage, for shopping, dining, entertainment and world class golf. So, what are you waiting for!
