Set in a quiet village and a short drive from popular Padstow, this property is both a stunning rural retreat and a perfect base to explore any one of the North Cornish coast’s golden beaches. Picturesque Padstow boasts a pretty harbour, independent shops and cafes as well as sea and pleasure boat trips. It also forms the end of the popular Camel Trail, a traffic-free cycle and footpath that follows the Camel Estuary to Wenford Bridge via Wadebridge and Bodmin. Venture further afield and visit one of the many attractions this part of Cornwall has to offer, including the Eden Project, Newquay Sealife Centre, Land’s End and numerous National Trust properties and gardens.

Enter into the cottage via the traditional stable door and into the wonderfully light and bright lounge/kitchen/diner. The kitchen offers an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washer dryer and stylish Dualit appliances and Krups Nespresso coffee machine. The dining area has plenty of space for four people to enjoy a meal together or enjoy your morning coffee, there are also patio doors off this room which take you out onto an enclosed patio area. The lounge boasts a Smart TV and plenty of comfy seating around the wood burner, the perfect spot to kick back and watch all your favourite programs or listen to music on the Amazon Echo speaker. Leading through to a small hallway you will find two bedrooms, a light and spacious twin with a door leading out to a private enclosed courtyard with garden furniture and a wonderful dual-aspect king-size bedroom with country views and patio doors leading out onto the patio garden with garden furniture. The main bathroom offers a roll-top bath separate double rainfall shower and WC.

Outside, you will find the enclosed patio area with garden furniture, the best place to enjoy your morning espresso. You also have shared access to a private 3-acre field, perfect for energetic dogs, children, or a space to enjoy a glass of wine watching the sun go down. Private parking for two cars.

Dogs are charged at $23 each per full or part week.
