The interior of The Linhay manages to feel cosy, yet spacious. The cute staircase up to the twin room, the traditional wood burner and the wooden floorboards feel very much like a cottage, but the high ceiling and white-washed beams and the contemporary kitchen and bathroom create a light, open and airy feel. One of the most unique features within this property is the gorgeous, exposed stone-wall in the lounge, a subtle reminder of the natural beauty of the Cornish landscape awaiting you outside.

Padstow (2 miles), is a typical Cornish fishing town complete with picturesque harbour and winding streets, known more recently as a food lover's delight, thanks to its most famous resident, Rick Stein. However, if you'd prefer something less bustling, you are ideally situated to explore plenty of stunning locations along the North Cornwall coast. Enjoy glorious views from Bedruthan Steps (9 miles), Polzeath beach (15 miles) with its golden sand and clear blue sea, and Port Isaac (15 miles), a village full of character and the home of TV's Doc Martin. For those keen to stretch their legs and find more unspoilt spots, why not walk the South West Coast Path and make the most of the remarkable coastline.
