The Hyde House Bed & Breakfast is housed in a beautifully restored Victorian-style home, originally built by Dr. Isaac Porter Primrose, a prominent local physician. It was built for his son-in-law. After over a century as a private residence, the home was lovingly restored to its current role as a Bed & Breakfast, blending historical charm with modern comforts. Along with the Hyde House, the Primrose House is one of the oldest homes in Nelsonville, adding to the historical allure of the area.

When you step inside, you’ll immediately notice the gorgeous oak trim, gleaming hardwood floors, and intricate stained-glass transoms that adorn the windows. The original kitchen cabinets with marble countertops and the antique stove/oven maintain the home's historic character while offering a glimpse into its rich past.
