Shangri-La is a beautiful octagonal home located on Old Bank's Road. Walk 50 paces from the wrap around deck and a magnificent ocean view unfolds. The house is surrounded with palm trees, fruit trees, and a meadow that stretches to the Atlantic Ocean. The wrap-around deck is a perfect spot for enjoying the breezes from the Atlantic Ocean while eating outdoors on the new six person dining table. Stretch out on the outdoor sectional and listen to music.

Once you enter this log home you will be welcomed with the airiness of the twenty-eight foot ceiling and the tropical art work throughout. The open concept living room, dining room and kitchen will allow you to visit and enjoy your vacation with all of your family members. New coastal furnishings decorate the living room. Enjoy watching the flatscreen tv using your Netflix account or Youtube. Listen to music using your iPod/iPad/MacBook by hooking it to our stereo system. The two bedrooms are extremely large and come with ensuite bathrooms. The master suite has a king size bed, while the second suite has two queen beds. For those who need extra sleeping room the open loft is equipped with a king & twin bed. A third washroom/laundry room (washing machine) is available on the main floor. Beautiful linens, bath towels, and beach towels have been carefully chosen to make your stay comfortable.

Orchid Cottage, next door, is a bright and lovely Bahamian style cottage. Upon entering the cottage the purple and turquoise will take you into a world of Bahamian relaxation. The open concept living room, dining room, and kitchen areas allow for your entire group to interact during cooking, eating, & family activities. The kitchen is equipped with everything you will need to prepare your meals and it also offers the convenience of a washing machine. The cathedral ceiling gives the cottage an airy feeling and a central wooden staircase leads to a loft area.

The cottage has two bedrooms, each with a king size bed. The second bedroom can be converted into two twin beds, if needed. Between the two bedrooms is a NEW three piece bathroom. The large walk-in shower is decorated with sea pebbles, sea glass, and shells embedded int he floor. The theme is repeated on the sink's vanity. Again, tropical colours abound.

The main house, Shangri-La, has AC throughout. Orchid Cottage has AC in both bedrooms. Other amenities include WIFI in both houses, satellite TV in Shangri La, Netflix, smart TV, and books and games.

You'll pass your time at Shangri-La and Orchid Cottage lounging on the wrap around deck, cooking on the grill, reading a book on the hammock, or just relaxing in the deck chairs. The two outdoor showers make showering after a day at the beach convenient and adventurous.

A short walk down our path takes you to a breathtaking, deserted Atlantic Ocean beach where you can beach comb, snorkel, suntan, or get lucky enough to swim with dolphins. A ten-minute walk along the beach or cottage road will take you to Sky Beach Club and Pascal's Restaurant where you can enjoy a cocktail at the swim-up bar or dine while taking in the view of the Atlantic Ocean. The infinity pool and hot tub are open to the public. Enjoy the Sunday bbq with live music, Tuesday night bonfire, and pasta night. The house is located on the most fantastic cottage road and has easy access to the Queen's Highway through a private gated road.
Enjoy a home cooked Bahamian meal at Shangri-La. Our staff will shop for local seafood and produce, prepare the meal, and provide clean up. This is a truly Bahamian experience that all of our guests enjoy!
