Waterford House is a 12-acre estate with 600 feet of private pink-sand beachfront. It is located on the prestigious Banks Road, 2 miles from Governors Harbour. Waterford enjoys complete privacy and a deserted beach, but is just a five-minute walk from famous Tippy's beachfront restaurant.

Waterford features ocean views from all major rooms. The entrance opens into the sunlit dining room, with sliding glass doors to the beach and pool on the opposite wall. To the right is the main living area, furnished with a large comfortable sectional to relax on while enjoying the ocean view. To the left is the fully equipped kitchen, a generously proportioned room with an island in the middle, a second dining area, and glass doors leading to deck. The house has three bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king bed, an ocean view, and a en suite bath. It opens to the pool and patio. The queen bedroom has direct access to the second bathroom. The third bedroom has a king bed, an ocean view, and opens to the pool and patio. This bedroom has access to the bath via the hallway.

Both the living room and the kitchen breakfast area are equipped with televisions (both have satellite TV).

From Governors Harbour’s famous Banks Road, the driveway to Waterford House takes you through a pair of wrought-iron gates with white walls, then through the gardens to the main house. Waterford is surrounded by extensive gardens. The front entry has a port-cochere, providing a covered space for parking as you go in and out of the house.

The main entrance to the one-story home is enclosed by glass walls. The front door slides open to the sun-lit dining room, softly decorated in white, taking you all the way through to another set of glass doors with views of the beach and access to the swimming pool. The main entrance is all in white wood with tile floors.

To the right is the main living area, decorated in soft pastel colors and furnished with a large comfortable sectional sofa to relax upon while enjoying the view. The main room has a support area, with a small bar and a refrigerator, and a laundry with washer and dryer. There are two bedrooms off the main room, a king-size bedroom with private access to the pool, and a queen size bedroom with en-suite bath. All rooms are air-conditioned.

Toward the left side of the house is the fully equipped kitchen, a generously proportioned room with an island in the middle. It features a second dining area with glass doors leading outside to the pool. Further to the left is the master bedroom suite with king bed, en-suite bath, and a private deck with expansive views of the beach and pool.

Waterford House also has a rollaway bed for a 7th guest if needed.

Outside, white symmetrical stairs take you up to the roof deck with breathtaking views of the beach, and in the opposite direction, the sunset. The wooden deck surrounding the pool(not heated) takes you to the rest of the garden and on through to the beach.

Amenities at Waterford include air-conditioning in every room, WIFI, beach chairs and umbrella, kayaks, gas grill, safe, TV with DVD player, and CD player. There is a caretaker who lives on the edge of the estate. If you want privacy, you will never see him. If you want his help, he can be available.

The town of Governors Harbour, five minutes away by car, has a charming collection of 19th century homes and churches overlooking its historic harbor. Buy fresh fish and lobster every afternoon from fisherman at the town dock, or visit the recently restored Haynes Library, which dates from 1897, for the weekly coffee hour for foreign residents and tourists.
