One-Bedroom, one-Bath Condo, quiet corner unit on middle floor (sleeps four comfortably) is in walking distance (0.25 miles, or 5-minutes) to the ski lifts and the Village of Palisades Tahoe (formerly Squaw Valley USA) in Olympic Valley, California only five miles North of Tahoe City, 10 miles South of Truckee, and 45 miles West of Reno Nevada. Free, fast WiFi available in the unit. The new address is 420 Shirley Canyon Road (road name change effective March 28 2022).

This Non-Smoking No-Pets Condo is cozy and comfortable with an incredible view of KT22 and Red Dog mountain runs. Perfect for one or two couples, or a family of four. Comfortable Queen bed plus a brand new Queen-size sofa/sleeper. Affordably priced for winter and summer use.

Parking for one vehicle, ski locker on ground floor, fully-equipped kitchen with all the amenities of home, including a cozy pellet stove. Free fast WiFi available in the unit with 50" flat screen TV. Shared coin-operated washers and dryers on the building's ground floor. Linens included. Hair dryer provided. One-time $100.00 cleaning fee. Refundable security deposit required at booking time ($1,500.00) or you can purchase a one-time non-refundable Property Damage Protection policy for $59.00 directly from VRBO.

Check-in time is 4PM, check-out time is 10AM. Possible exceptions are available, contact Marco for details.

Olympic Valley Vacation Condo by Marco Vailetti Marco loves to ski the slopes of Palisades Tahoe (formerly Squaw Valley USA), together with his wife and kids too. When he is not skiing, Marco loves to sail his Nacra Inter 20 catamaran and also to scuba dive as well. Why they chose this propertyI have chosen to purchase my condo as a vacation home, since Palisades Tahoe (formerly Squaw Valley USA) was the site of the Winter Olympic games in 1960, and ever since has improved the slopes and lifts to make it a world class ski resort. With terrain for all type of skiers, from beginners to experts, is one of the best resorts in the Tahoe region that caters to individuals and families as well, with a great ski school from toddlers to adults. What makes this property uniqueThe condo is just a short walk to the village and the Cable Car. Even with ski boots on, it takes me only 5 minutes to get to the Gondola. That way I don't have to worry about finding parking, especially on a busy weekend, or being worried about being towed during the winter months. With the convenient ski locker on the ground floor, all the ski gear is stowed away securely. The condo itself is very cozy, but it feels just like home too. The fully equipped kitchen is ideal to cook a gourmet home meal, but there are plenty of great restaurants in the village, including Starbucks too, just 5 minutes walking. Free fast WiFi is now available inside the unit. I love the pellet stove, that provides heat and the looks of a wood stove, without the bother of smoke and having to tend the fire, just set the thermostat to the desired temperature and enjoy, and occasionally add a bag of wood pellets into the hopper. In spring, summer, and fall, there is plenty of terrain to hike, following the creek to the waterfalls, and all the way up to Shirley Lake. If you have a bike, there is a great bike path that takes you all the way to Tahoe City, just 5 miles away. There you can enjoy the views of beautiful Lake Tahoe. All together this is the best vacation home , away from home.
