Sunset Cliffs is a neighborhood in the Point Loma community of San Diego, California. It is bordered by the Pacific Ocean on the west, Ocean Beach on the north, Catalina Blvd. and Santa Barbara St. on the east, and Sunset Cliffs Natural Park on the south. The area is named for the sheer cliffs which border the ocean.

Serenity at Sunset Cliffs is a 1 bedroom, 1 bath home located in the enviable location just one block from Sunset Cliffs. The property consists of a total of 3 cottages. This unit is the front unit - the first unit you see from the street. The other 2 units have long term tenants.

Walking through the front door you are welcomed into the living room with a very comfortable brand-new sofa sleeper, with tempurpedic mattress, Smart TV, Cable, Wifi and lots of room for everyone.

The bedroom has a queen size bed, closet space and a Smart TV.

Beyond the living room is a breakfast bar and stools for your indoor dining. Outside on the patio is a dining table for el fresco meals. A propane bbq is also provided.
The kitchen is fully stocked with all the essentials needed for cooking.

Walk to the laundromat just around the corner, walk to shops, restaurants and corner stores and of course to Sunset Cliffs Trail.

Sunset Cliffs Trail is a 2.4 mile out and back trail located near San Diego, California that offers scenic views and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for walking, running, road biking, and mountain biking. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

Sunset Cliffs Natural Park is a steep hillside park between Point Loma Nazarene University and the ocean. There are boot-beaten footpaths all over the hillside here to explore. The beach below the park, which has been nicknamed Garbage Beach, has a steep access route down the sandstone cliff directly below the lower parking lot. This route follows a broken drainage trough and is so steep at the bottom that a fixed rope is used for safety. This is a popular beach so many locals and tourists make this steep trip down and back up every day – some of them in flip flops.

From Sunset Cliffs, it is a short drive to Seaworld, The World Famous San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park, Petco Park and The Gas Lamp District. Enjoy Liberty Station for dining, gift shops and lots of lovely walkways to enjoy.

Sunset Cliffs is a magical part of San Diego, a place you will want to return to again and again.

A little bit about Ocean Beach:

This small beach town is a favorite among locals who spend their days surfing, sunbathing around the pier, hanging out in their vintage VW vans, and strolling through the many surf shops, taco stands and antique malls. Ocean Beach has a throw-back groovy vibe of vintage SoCal, coupled with friendly locals and great dining. Nestled between the San Diego River and the hills of Point Loma, Ocean Beach is perfect for surfers to enjoy the waves created by jetties. The beach is also friendly for swimmers, sunbathers, even dogs too!

This is a NON-SMOKING home. This includes patios, decks and outside areas.

This home is not equipped with A/C. The home has ceiling fans for air circulation.

There are 2 other cottages on this property.

This home sits on a property with 2 other cottages. Please respect your surrounding neighbors. Our rental agreement includes a no tolerance policy regarding excessive noise, occupancy and/or parties. Evictions are strictly enforced if at any time our guests choose to disregard this rule. All our properties are equipped with noise monitors.

For homes that allow pets there are certain rules that always apply. Pets are never to be left alone in the homes uncrated if they are prone to check, bark or are not house broken. If you plan on spending time away from your pets please find a doggy day care or crate your pet. Any damage caused by your pet is not covered under your damage insurance. You can call our office for recommendations or check the Welcome Book.

Pet Fee: $40/Night - for longer stays, please inquire about flat rates.

Ocean Beach lies in the San Diego International Airport flight path for some departing flights. No planes can depart after 11:30 pm or before 6:30 am.
