Once it’s time to eat, you can enjoy group meals at the large dining table or take a seat at the extended kitchen island.

Our spacious home boasts plenty of comfy lounge spots, whether you want to hang out as a large group or spread out to do different activities. Listen to the crackle of the wood-burning fireplace (wood included) as you stream your favorite shows in the living room or plan for another exciting day in the lounge space off the kitchen and dining room. There’s also an additional TV in the upper-level game loft if you can’t agree on what to watch.

Head up to the third-floor loft for hours of endless entertainment. ?? ACTIVITIES/ATTRACTIONS ??
Our property is the perfect place for a home base in the Flagstaff area. You’ll be close to endless trails, river rafting opportunities, ski slopes, and a whole lot more. Here are some of the many options available to you:

? Walnut Canyon National Monument: Located just southeast of Flagstaff, Walnut Canyon National Monument offers breathtaking views and the opportunity to explore ancient cliff dwellings. Visitors can hike along the trails and learn about the history and culture of the Sinagua people who once inhabited the area.

? Sunset Crater Volcano National Monument: This unique geological site features a volcanic cone and lava flow from an eruption that occurred nearly 900 years ago. Visitors can hike the trails to observe the lava formations and explore the surrounding volcanic landscape. The scenic views and the visitor center provide educational opportunities for all ages.

? Lowell Observatory: Founded in 1894, Lowell Observatory is a renowned astronomical research facility. Visitors can take guided tours, view celestial objects through telescopes, and participate in interactive exhibits. The observatory is famous for its discovery of Pluto and continues to contribute to astronomical research.

? Arizona Snowbowl: If you're visiting during the winter months or enjoy outdoor activities in the snow, Arizona Snowbowl is a popular destination for skiing and snowboarding. Located just north of Flagstaff, this ski resort offers a range of slopes for all skill levels, equipment rentals, and lessons. During the summer months, the resort also provides scenic chairlift rides and hiking opportunities.

? My goal for The Northern Arizona Basecamp is to create a community. I love my local community and sharing it with guests that want to explore northern Arizona. You will find a large map on the wall so you can leave your mark - tell us where you are visiting from and see where those that came before you harkened from. We are united in our love of adventure!

? Who this home is best for:
- Travelers wanting to visit the Grand Canyon, Sedona, Page, Williams, and more - located in Flagstaff city limits, this home is ideally situated as a hub for all these day trip locations.

- A group of up to 10 that wants to chill out, enjoy the scenery, visit the local sites, and enjoy time with their group playing pool or darts. The home is particularly catered toward hikers, river rafters (see below), mountain bikers, active families, and groups visiting Arizona. We welcome business retreat groups, camping groups heading in or out of the canyon, leadership groups, and families with teenage/elementary kids - or any other type of group that wants to have a fantastic time in AZ!

- Respectful groups that will follow the 10:00 pm quiet time (no hot tub use after 10 pm) and will also respect the cleaner's time and not check in early or check out late without prior approval.

? Who this home is not best for:
- If everything must be exact, or your entire vacation is wholly ruined. I try incredibly hard to ensure the home matches the pictures and that everything is perfect, but if you are considered a perfectionist, someone with strong opinions about how a BnB should be decorated, cleaned, managed, and located, I cannot meet your expectations. If the color of the kitchen towel must match the photo, this is not your place.

- Someone expecting staff onsite 24/7 to cater to your every need at any moment

- Events of any kind. We have limited parking and cannot accommodate additional guests other than what is listed and is limited to 10 at all times. This includes graduation dinners where you invite 20 additional people or a bachelorette party where you invite 10 extra people, even if it’s just for a few hours. This home is in a quiet neighborhood and we must always be aware of the long-term residents in the area.

No more than three vehicles and no unauthorized guests are allowed on the property - please include all visitors on the reservation.

Quiet time begins at 10:00 pm, per City of Flagstaff rules. You are welcome to use the hot tub until the city’s quiet time of 10:00 pm but ask that you refrain from using after 10, as voices yelling over the jets can easily be heard several doors down.

Do not illegally download media on the WiFi. The internet company tracks this and guests will be charged the fines and fees through the internet company, which are quite substantial.

There is no smoking, vaping, or drugs allowed in the house. No parties and no weddings are permitted at this location.

Guest Access:

? GENERAL: Guests can enjoy private access to the entire home.

? PARKING: Free parking is available for 3 vehicles in the driveway. Free street parking is also available May-Oct

? WORK FROM HOME: There is free, high-speed WiFi available throughout the home.

? FAMILY: Traveling with little ones? We’ve got you covered with a few supplies, including a Pack ’n Play and children’s dinnerware, books, and toys. We can also provide babysitting recommendations!

? PETS: We are pet-friendly, and all animals must be listed on the reservation. There is a limit of two animals welcomed per reservation. The pet fee is $75.
