Explore and take in nature at the Necedah National Wildlife Refuge, with a visitor center, walking paths, lookout towers, and bicycling through this 44,000-acre park. It's only 10 minutes to the Nekoosa HoChunk casino, 15 minutes to Wisconsin Rapids, and 45 minutes to the Wisconsin Dells attractions for a full day of activities for the kids. Or take a day trip to Spring Green, the Frank Lloyd Wright Center, and the House on the Rock. Relaxation or waterfront activities... the choice is yours! If you are bringing your own watercraft or renting locally, please plan accordingly, as there is no overnight docking on Lake Petenwell. You will have to trailer your watercraft each night at the property. The property has plenty of space for trailers, and the boat launch is minutes from the home!
