Go north and explore bustling Ambleside with its extensive array of independent shops and restaurants. Nearer to the apartment, try the short easy climb up Orrest Head, which again starts just two minutes away from Hidden Nook where you can enjoy simply breathtaking views to the length of Lake Windermere and the Lakeland fells.
