Throw open the large kitchen windows to allow the salty sea air in while dining on a light lunch. Hop on the ferry to cross the estuary and explore Fowey where's there's another sheltered beach, castle ruins and aquarium, or wander the South West Coast Path to explore National Trust land. Days out to the Eden Project are essential as its 16 miles away and if you venture further past this landmark attraction you'll discover St Austell (18 miles) and The Lost Gardens of Heligan (19 miles).
