Somtara is a wonderful home situated on one of the island's best lakeshore parcels. It is considered by many repeat island visitors as one of the nicest places to stay on the island.

From the outside and from pictures only, Somtara looks like any ordinary ranch style home, but step inside and you see what makes this home so very special: you get a truly Superior experience the entire length of the home. No matter what the weather is like outside, you’ll enjoy the views and sounds of Superior from the comfort and warmth of Somtara. Somtara is a well-maintained, clean, one level, two bedroom, two bath, year-round home on a beautiful and peaceful Chippewa Trail lot. It offers great lake views and lake sounds. The yard is large and pleasant. Shore access is easy and close: Somtara is on the lake, not across the road as are many properties. There’s a large, long deck out front overlooking the lake and a screened porch off the master bedroom. There is a queen bed in the master bedroom, two twins in the guest bedroom, and a sofa sleeper in the family room. There is a fireplace in the living room, a wood stove in the family room, and a fire-pit on the shoreline patio - a guest favorite.
