New 5+ Bedroom, Beachfront Resort on Secluded Pink Sand Beach for Private Ren

Welcome to Mika’s Resort, a boutique beachfront resort available for private rental for that special large-group vacation, family reunion, wedding, or other event. This brand new resort, just completed (August of 2019) is located on a stunning and usually deserted pink sand beach.
Mika’s Main Lodge houses the lobby and a modern commercial kitchen, fully equipped with commercial refrigerator freezer, gas cooktop and oven, two dishwashers, and a wide range of small appliances including blender, food chopper, toaster oven, rice pot, slow cooker, deep fryer, and more. There are two powder rooms off of the lobby.
The top floor of the Main Lodge consists of the Penthouse Suite. This apartment enjoys stunning ocean views from every room. It includes a full kitchen, living room, dining area, and a master bedroom suite with an incredible spa bathroom complete with a steam shower and separate hot and cold tubs! The master suite also has large walk-in closet with windows and additional twin bed, in case you need to sleep an extra guest in there. The living room sofa can accommodate a 4th guest if need be.
In addition to the main lodge, Mika’s Resort has four Casitas, stand-alone beachfront cottages with lovely ocean views. Each Casita’s bedroom area is furnished with a queen bed, flat-screen TV, desk and dresser, and enjoys stunning ocean views. Each has a modern en suite full bath with a walk-in shower. Each casita features a kitchenette equipped with a mini-fridge with freezer, microwave, toaster, Keurig coffee maker, full sink, dishes, and flatware.
The Deck beachfront restaurant and bar is a short walk down the beach. The town of Governors Harbour, the main town on Eleuthera, is just 6 minutes away by car. Governors Harbour has grocery stores, restaurants, liquor stores, two banks with ATMs, a bakery, gift shops, a dive shop, and a medical clinic. It has a nice little collection of 19th century homes and churches overlooking a picturesque harbor. You can buy fresh fish and lobster every afternoon from fisherman at the town dock. Friday night Fish Fry in Governors Harbour is a street/beach party that brings together all the tourists and locals with food, drink, and dancing in the street. You won’t want to miss it.
Restaurants in the area include The Deck, which is walking distance, Pascal’s at Sky Beach Club (International cuisine with Bahamian influences), Tippy’s (international and fusion), The Buccaneer (Bahamian cuisine with Caribbean-Chinese fusion), La Bougainvillea (international cuisine), 1648 Restaurant (Bahamian cuisine inspired by European influences), Bacchus Fine Foods (gourmet restaurant and food store), and The Rainbow Inn (famous for its steaks and seafood). The above all have live music one or more nights a week, so there is live entertainment somewhere nearby almost every night. The Governors Harbour area also has numerous little takeouts and restaurants offering local cuisine, including Da Perk (coffee shop and sandwiches), Mate and Jenny’s (pizza and Bahamian), the Sunset Inn (local cuisine), and LeoRose Sunset Beach Bar and Grill (local cuisine, drinks, live music).
Governors Harbour Airport (GHB) is just 5 minutes away. North Eleuthera Airport (ELH) is 50 minutes away.
