Brand New Beachfront Cottage in Boutique Resort on Deserted Pink Sand Beach

This brand new beachfront casita in Mika's boutique resort sits on a dune overlooking a deserted pink sand beach, and enjoys ocean views from every window.

The bedroom area is furnished with a queen bed, flat-screen TV, desk and dresser, and enjoys stunning ocean views. The modern en suite full bath has a walk-in shower.

The casita features a kitchenette equipped with a mini-fridge with freezer, microwave, toaster, Keurig cofee maker, full sink, dishes, and flatware. Many other kitchen appliances are available to check out and use at no charge including blender, toaster oven, rice pot slow cooker, and much more. Casita guests also have free access to the commercial kitchen in the main house, which is open until midnight.

Guests at Mika's resort can also enjoy our wonderful outdoor deck bar, gas grill, in-room massage, and other amenities.

Our spectacular and usually deserted pink-sand beach is steps away from your deck. Eleuthera is famous for pink sand and crystal-clear ocean water, some of the clearest in the world.

The Deck beachfront restaurant and bar is a short walk down the beach. The town of Governors Harbour, the main town on Eleuthera, is just 6 minutes away by car. Governors Harbour has grocery stores, restaurants, liquor stores, two banks with ATMs, a bakery, gift shops, a dive shop, and a medical clinic. It has a nice little collection of 19th century homes and churches overlooking a picturesque harbor. You can buy fresh fish and lobster every afternoon from fisherman at the town dock. Friday night Fish Fry in Governors Harbour is a street/beach party that brings together all the tourists and locals with food, drink, and dancing in the street. You won’t want to miss it.

Restaurants in the area include The Deck, which is walking distance, Pascal’s at Sky Beach Club (International cuisine with Bahamian influences), Tippy’s (international and fusion), The Buccaneer (Bahamian cuisine with Caribbean-Chinese fusion), La Bougainvillea (international cuisine), 1648 Restaurant (Bahamian cuisine inspired by European influences), Bacchus Fine Foods (gourmet restaurant and food store), and The Rainbow Inn (famous for its steaks and seafood). The above all have live music one or more nights a week, so there is live entertainment somewhere nearby almost every night. The Governors Harbour area also has numerous little takeouts and restaurants offering local cuisine, including Da Perk (coffee shop and sandwiches), Mate and Jenny’s (pizza and Bahamian), the Sunset Inn (local cuisine), and LeoRose Sunset Beach Bar and Grill (local cuisine, drinks, live music).
