Hosted by Gulf Shores Vacation Rentals. Our parents raised all five of their children in Baton Rouge, La. As a family, we always vacationed in Gulf Shores back when it was hardly on the map. It was truly a beach house community. We lost our beach house in Hurricane Frederick and were one of the first in the area to rebuild. In their retirement, my parents spent as much time as they could at the beach. They loved it there. The five children now reside in various cities in and outside of Louisiana, and many of us have grown children—a few are even grandparents themselves. **Why we chose this property** Our parents have owned this Gulf-front property for 40 years. As their family grew, our parents realized their beach house should too. In 1999, they built this home to accommodate the whole family. They would often talk about the happiness they experienced while watching their children, and then their grandchildren, learn to love and appreciate the beach house. This joy was never lost on them. Lagniappe II is special to our family because of the love and happiness it represents. We hope that you and your family create the same lifelong happy memories during your stay at Lagniappe II. **What makes this property unique** This stand-alone property, with its gorgeous Gulf-front view, has much to offer the whole family. What is so spectacular about this property is its beach access. Just a few steps off the back deck and you are on the beach. Enjoy your morning coffee on either the front deck, the den couch, or the ground level hanging swings—all with the same amazing Gulf view. As a family, our favorite thing to do is walk on the beach at sunset. Lagniappe II is the perfect spot for pure relaxation and fun.
