About this space

Our beautiful vacation home is located in the desirable Birch Hill area at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac. Ideally positioned for the winter season with Cranmore mountain being only a 10 minute drive, Attitash 15 mins and Wildcat 25 mins. Several other slopes are within an hour's drive. Right now, ski conditions are great locally, so come on down.

The open plan style offers ample space for up to 8 people and there are stunning mountain views from the high end hot tub located on the back deck.

The main level comprises the kitchen, diner, lounge and ¾ bath. The kitchen is fully equipped with appliances and many extras to provide you many of the comforts of home. The lounge has vaulted ceilings, an oversized wood-burning river stone fireplace and floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the mountains. Comfortable seating, large smart TV (with cable), a 7’ combo games table (pool/air hockey) and a variety of games in the cupboard provide entertainment for all.

In the large open loft space there is a queen bed and 2 full beds. There is plenty of storage space in the form of storage chests and a small chest of drawers. In addition there is a foosball table for the young at heart.

A fully fitted basement provides comfortable accommodation with two spacious bedrooms. The master bedroom has a 45" Smart TV, a seating area, and a walk-in closet. The other bedroom sleeps four, in two built-in adult size bunk beds, and has a 24’ flat screen TV. A full bathroom also contains a private washer and dryer.

Our secluded ¾ acre lot is surrounded by trees on 3 sides and the cul-de-sac. The ground slopes quite steeply in places that enhances the stunning views but the meadow style area gives plenty of places to enjoy the outdoors.

When making your booking please ensure that you include the planned number of guests in your party. Notify me as soon as possible of any changes. A 20% discount is automatically applied for bookings of a week.

If your party is 7 or more persons then I will require a period of 2 days after your departure for extended cleaning (in line with recommendations), so please consider this when checking your vacation dates.

Cancellation policy

CANCELLATION POLICY: If you cancel at least 14 days before check-in you will get back 100% of the amount you've paid. If you cancel between 7 and 14 days before check-in, you’ll get back 50%. Otherwise, only the compliance deposit will be refunded.

Check-out instructions

Please leave property in the same condition as when you arrived.

  • You must leave by check out time 10:00am to allow for cleaning. If you leave late you may be charged for the cleaning company’s time if they are delayed.

  • On departure guests should place a maximum of 6 towels in the washing machine and start the wash cycle.

  • Guests are asked to place all used linens, and any additional used towels, inside pillow cases and place them in the downstairs foyer.

  • Do not leave any dirty dishes. Preferably run dishwasher and empty, but if short of time, please start dishwasher running.

  • Put all garbage outside in the barrel house before leaving. The barrel house is the small red shed located up next to the road to the left of our home as you look from the front door, as shown here.

  • Please do not over-fill bags and tie them securely. Do not put any loose items in the barrel house, make sure everything is bagged and that the door is securely shut.

  • Make sure all the doors are locked.

  • Set temperature control in lounge to 75˚F (May - Oct) or 65˚F (Nov – April).

  • Turn off all the lights, TVs, etc.

  • Place the key back in the lock-box if you have not previously done so and randomize the dials.

Good Neighbourhood Agreement

As we seek to be responsible hosts, we ask you to be responsible renters. We live in a beautiful part of the state in a quiet residential area. We require that all guests respect our neighbours and our neighbourhood at all times, especially in the following ways:

  • Moderate your noise levels at all times and especially after 9pm and all times when outside.

  • No parking on the road and a maximum of 4 vehicles on the drive

  • Trash to be placed, securely in tied bags, in the barrel house on Tuesday evening or on checkout.

  • No smoking anywhere on the premises (including grounds) and no fires or fireworks

To secure a booking please say a little about your group and your plans when sending a booking request. I like to know who wants to stay in my home.

I have been a regular visitor to this area for many years, I am however a UK resident. Now retired, I love to spend time with my family and friends, never more so than when I am here. I fell in love with this area back in 2000 but found and brought this property in 2008. Regularly rated as a top ski destination, North Conway is in fact a great all year round resort. The town and Mount Washington valley offers fantastic amenities, numerous attractions, stunning mountain scenery and tax free shopping all available minutes from our home. I have great support from my local property manager, Valerie and a network of friends and service providers in the Valley to keep my home in a tip-top condition. Why they chose this property Regularly rated as a top ski destination, North Conway is in fact a great all year round resort. Fantastic amenities, numerous attractions, stunning mountain scenery and tax free shopping are available minutes from our home. What makes this property unique Large and comfortable, a well equipped home from home. I spend between 5 and 8 weeks a year here myself and it is maintained to be my home as well as yours. The awesome views across the deck to the Moat mountains from the house or the hot tub are always enticing.
