Black Fox Cottage is a 1900's vintage charmer, updated with all of the modern conveniences & comforts. You’ll love every bit of the carefully curated space, with well-appointed interior design that will make you feel right at home. Breathtaking views await from just about every room and deck of the lake front spot on Boulder Bay. Enjoy the beach and dock right down the path.

Private dock, lounge area above the beach, fire pit, outdoor dining, outdoor lounge, BBQ, quiet spot to do, well nothing....

The living space...
Enjoy this carefully curated three-bedroom two bath home that is well appointed throughout. You won't find a cheap sheet here. After all, sleep is important if you are going to wake up and play hard. The kitchen resembles a trip to William Sonoma, organic cleaning products are used for a clean yet non-toxic environment, and gardens and interiors are designed by Maison du cheval bleu.

Spring is a magical time with the scent of lilacs wafting through the house and wildlife all around. The lake and the forest wake up from their winters rest...spring in the perfect time for a long hike to Castle Rock, enjoy endless mountain biking, make a go at the Spartan Race, Maifest (Oktoberfest's little sister), take a stroll on the kissing bridge, pick fruit in the backyard, The Polar Plunge, Grill & Chill, or Music in the Mountains with cave concerts to name but a few.

Summer is extraordinary, warm air and BBQ fills the neighborhood, friends at the beach, kayak or paddle board, go hike and explore, so many things to choose from; Big Bear Brewfest, Trout Derby, Art Walk, Chili Cookoff, Movies in the Meadow, and the Antique car show to name some favorites. Black Fox Cottage is great in the summer: fruit on the trees and vines, roast marshmallows over the fire down by the lake. Paradise!

Finally fall in this idyllic spot...as the air turns crisp and the leaves change color...fall is breathtaking. Oktoberfest and the turkey trot bring amusement. Fall is the perfect time for a hike, for a picnic, take a ride on the lake in a pirate ship, or take the kids to the zoo.
