Welcome to RiverHaven! Ideal for families or two couples, wanting to be immersed in nature, while being surrounded by all the comforts of home. It won't take long before the cares of the world are in your rear view mirror, and relaxation prevails. A full kitchen is at your finger tips. The gathering area includes a book nook, and plenty of games/puzzles to choose from. By day a comfortable living room, and at night the queen Murphy bed cabinet makes for a comfortable nights sleep. There is a full queen bedroom, and a bathroom with heated floors. So many details, to make you feel cozy and right at home.. A private patio/deck gives you a sweeping panoramic views all the way to Tennessee. This ideal outdoor space is the place to be to take in the star studded night sky by the warmth of the table top fire pit. By day enjoy the view from the porch swing.

If wood burning, some-mores and a killer view fit your fancy, head to the knoll with it's comfy Adirondack chairs.

RiverHaven is one option (on the lower level of our two story home), and SkyView is the other. There is an outdoor and indoor entry to your RiverHaven getaway.

Just stayed with Dave and Callie up at River Dance and OMG. My wife and I talked about our stay all the way home (3 1/2 hours) and finally decided upon 3 words to describe our getaway.
1. Quaint – We’ve stayed at both of their rentals – River Haven and Sky View. Both rental properties were clean, and beautiful, and embraced what you would expect to find in the mountains of NC. The view from the bed in Sky View is absolutely Amazing ! !
2. Rejuvenating – When you enter the Bear River Lodge property in many ways the stress and craziness of the world get put on hold. Whether you’re sitting on the deck at River Haven drinking morning coffee, hanging in a hammock, or listening to the sounds of Big Laurel River it’s easy to turn off the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
3. Heavenly – I think this word is the most fitting to describe our stay. The mountains, Appalachian Trail, Max Patch, Big Pillow Brewery, downtown Marshall, and Hot Springs Resort (tub 15) all of which made our stay phenomenal.

This cozy space has one private bedroom. It features beautiful floors, and large windows that allow for plenty of natural light and magnificent views. Relax in the ultra-soft queen-sized bed and watch your favorite shows on the flat-screen TV (when you’re not enjoying the fantastic view!).

This bright, airy bedroom overlooks the mountains and has plenty of storage space to unpack and make yourself at home. Locally inspired artwork makes the room feel cozy and complete.

Right next to the main bedroom is a full bathroom. Inside the bathroom, you’ll find a beautifully tiled walk-in shower, a mirrored vanity, a full-length mirror, fresh towels, and heated floors.for an extra touch of luxury. Essential toiletries have been provided for your convenience.

?? GREAT ROOM ??
Designed to make you feel right at home, this beautiful mountain home has a full kitchen, complete with a full-size refrigerator, custom cabinets, and drawers stocked with all the utensils and kitchen essentials you’ll need. You can brew coffee every morning and enjoy it on the private deck overlooking the mountains, or enjoy a glass of wine and snacks out by the propane firepit each night.

The open-concept living room is surrounded by windows, allowing sunshine to flood in and offering unobstructed nature views from almost every angle. The Murphy bed chest can accommodate two guests. Small details like the handcrafted wooden table and chairs, area rug, and art created by local artisans make this large living room a comfortable place to hang out.

?? OUTSIDE SPACE ??
This private space is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city, surrounded by nature. There is a sunny deck that overlooks the gorgeous North Carolina landscape. Enjoy the fresh air and views during meals at the outdoor dining table, enjoy your morning coffee or evening cocktail, or simply settle in with a good book in the sunshine.

The wood-burning fire pit on the knoll is the perfect place to gather in the evening to make some s’mores while enjoying the bright starry sky without any light pollution. Or, enjoy some drinks around the propane tabletop fire pit on your deck.

From this scenic private home, you’re a short drive from outdoor adventure, with local hiking trails, a rafting spot, and Sandy Bottom Trail Rides just 12 to 30 minutes away.
Hot Springs with its soothing mineral waters, just 8 minutes away, is not to be missed. This home is perfect for people who want to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of city life and reconnect with each other.

You will be given a unique code to access the lock on the front door. You can park right on the property, and well-behaved dogs are welcome. This home is tucked away from major roads and highways, with fiber access for your computer needs. Great for couples and small families, this dreamy home is the best way to get the authentic North Carolina vacation experience. There are two access options, interior and exterior to reach your suite. The Interior involves going down some stairs, and the exterior route connects with the patio on the lower level.
