Now, as a Realtor in The Villages, I understand the need to have someone reliable to watch over your home. We know how important it is to have peace of mind that your home is in good hands while you are so many miles away. Our ongoing need for a reliable home watch service (especially one that knew how to handle rentals) and the difficulty we had finding one during those four-plus years when we lived up north convinced us to start our own home watch service. Now, we can take care of our owners' property while they are not occupying it themselves. Our basic home watch service (SnowBird) and our rental program can be tailored to your needs. We will give you the highest quality of service every time and treat you and your property with respect and care. Your home is monitored weekly using a detailed checklist to ensure all services are being performed, and you will be notified of any issues we observe. As for renting your property, why pay a percentage of your rental income (which can be as much as $1,500 to $2,500 just for the prime season) when I can handle the entire rental process for $100 per month? I manage everything from obtaining tenants to checking them at departure and setting up for the next guest. We have grown from three homes when we started in July 2014 to now servicing 210 properties, of which 43 are rentals, and we are adding more each year. This growth has allowed us to coordinate the large volume of rental requests to maximize the occupancy of all our properties. Plus, as a licensed Realtor, I am able to help my owners when they are looking to sell their property or buy a new one.
