About Dayna English
I am a New York transplant (dis-occupying Wall Street) in 2008 and joining Teach for America to teach high school math in inner-city public schools. I am now in my fifteenth year of teaching between my home state of Hawaii, and my adopted homes in New York City and New Orleans. On school days I am gone by 6 am and generally not back until 5 pm. I either work or travel most weekends. I am a low key and low touch host- but promise to be as accommodating as possible. I try to live as simply and lightly on this earth as possible and hope that my guests will do the same. My home is in a wonderful location, clean, comfortable, and quiet but updated, upscale or fancy. After a decade in the hospitality business (which supports teaching in high-need public schools) I am reasonably experienced. In the spirit of constant learning, I welcome your constructive feedback.
