Why they chose this propertyThe Outer Banks has a character of its own, and the family-friendly Corolla area in the northern part of OBX is even more special with wide beaches, shopping areas, restaurants, water sports, and historic sites like the 1925 Whalehead Club and Historic Corolla. The wild horses just a few miles up route 12 are a huge attraction for visitors in the 4x4 beach driving area. Further south is the Wright Brothers Memorial, Jockey's Ridge, and Roanoke Island/Manteo where the ever-popular outdoor Lost Colony play shows during high season.
