Why Kevin Hurley chose Palm River-Clair Mel The setting is atypical for an urban area - hence our coined name "Urban Oasis". This tree farm and botanical garden was established in 1957. I fell in love with the trees and palms and decided to make it my own zen sanctuary in 2006. If you love the outdoors and love adventure - then our place is the perfect getaway for you. The cottage is conveniently located near all Tampa Buccaneers and Lightning sporting events, the cruise port, cultural centers, and a fantastic night life in Ybor City, Channelside, and the Tampa Riverwalk. What makes this Cottage unique Peace and tranquility in lush gardens. Guests are welcome to set up tents and sleep under the stars.
