Why they chose this propertyThis house is one of the largest single-family houses on the beach with 9 real bedrooms and has an abundance of 8 full bathrooms. Has a nice pool that can be heated with natural gas. We love that house is built on sand-level, so no outside stairs to climb. Ideal for wheelchairs plus there is one handicap-friendly bathroom on the ground floor. Great for family gatherings! What makes this property uniqueWe like that there is lots of living and sleeping on ground floor which appeals to those who don't like stairs. Home is just a stone's throw from the waters of the Sound with its fantastic sunsets. While some people automatically choose expensive Gulf front houses, they are missing out on fabulous sunsets over the bay, on the nighttime lights over the water and on the ability to put your paddle board, canoe, boat or other watercraft in the Sound. The most-amazing white-sand Gulf of Mexico Beach is 2 short-blocks from our home. Guests often ask about going to Blue Angels aerial practices at Aviation Museum. Info as of 5/17/23:The National Naval Aviation Museum is open Monday-Sunday from 9A-4P. (See Below.) US Navy announced on 5/15/23- NAS-Pensacola will allow 7-day access to areas of public interest. While on the installation, the public will be able to visit the Pensacola Lighthouse, Fort Barrancas and the National Naval Aviation Museum (NNAM). Public access to NAS Pensacola will be available from 9A-3p. through the West Gate ONLY on Blue Angel Parkway. All U.S. citizens 18+ must have a REAL ID or passport. Navy requires any identification card used for base access to be compliant with the REAL ID Act of 2005. Real ID-compliant identification cards are marked by a star on the upper right of the card. NASP base access will be dependent on available parking at the National Naval Aviation Museum (NNAM) and Pensacola Lighthouse. Once parking is full, public access will be halted until more parking becomes available. Temporary traffic control points will be located on base to prevent public access to other areas of the installation. Foreign Nationals are authorized access but must be escorted by a U.S. citizen in the same vehicle. See base website for details.
