This home is available for year-round enjoyment! The location is perfect for parking your car (two off-street spots for mid-size vehicles and one street permit) and enjoying all Rehoboth Beach has to offer. Family Tides is a straight 2.5 block walk down Laurel Street to the beach, and 4 short blocks to Rehoboth Avenue down Bayard or Scarborough Street. Walk to shopping, restaurants, Farmers' Market, Starbucks and of course the famous Boardwalk/Funland!
One level 3-bedroom 2-bath living (with exception of laundry in basement), sleeps 6 in beds on first floor. King, Queen, 2 twins. Home has an unfinished basement with two futons,TV, and 1/2 bath (not part of renovation), which is ideal for adolescents and teens, allowing a maximum occupancy of 8 (max 6 adults). Living/kitchen area floors are bamboo wood, and baths are ceramic tile.
We are pet friendly for one approved, well-behaved (under 60 lbs, on flea/tick maintenance, nails trimmed) adult over 12 months, no house accidents, fee applies. We supply a crate, dog bed, bowls, and treats. For walks, we provide a leash, flashlights and doggie-doo bags.
Pack your clothing and personal items, the rest is awaiting your arrival to Family Tides in Rehoboth Beach! We meet almost every need including freshly made beds, bath towels, beach towels, cooler, umbrellas, beach chairs, boogie boards, cart, and more! We supply toiletries in the baths, hand soap at sinks, as well as laundry and dish soap. We also provide two spa-style bath robes in the master bath (one size fits most), along with plenty of space for your own clothing and personal items. Those who stay with us appreciate that we provide paper towels, toilet paper, napkins, trash bags, and food storage containers. If you choose to dine-in while in Rehoboth, we have everything a creative cook needs to prepare and serve a meal, including basic spices and cooking oil. Do you prefer a drip or pod coffee maker? We have both, and a coffee grinder! In a nut shell, you have plenty of room to bring Grandma along, as you won't have to pack a lot of extra items, nor take home dirty linens and towels!
Almost everything was purchased new for the 2018 season! All kitchenware is Williams-Sonoma and other upscale brands. Our home is professionally decorated with custom furniture and beds (arrived end of April). Like our other property that we opened to guests for several years in Rehoboth, it has high end bedding finishes. Master bedroom has a firm king bed and ensuite shower bathroom. The second bedroom has a plush queen bed, and third bedroom has two twin beds. There is a hall bath with tub/shower.
We have an outdoor private shower for sandy beach days. Our gas grill is in the back yard along with outdoor dining at a picnic table. Don't forget the screened porch, a favorite gathering place for socializing, curling up with a book, and people watching. The porch has a ceiling fan to help keep you cool in the summer.
We have books, games and cards in the family room for stay-at-home activities.
Please note that fireplace is not for summer season use.
Our beds have full encasements, as recommended for protection. We have 2 fire extinguishers, and we have CO/smoke detectors as fire code recommends by sleeping areas/hall.
Cancellation policy: If we are able to re-book your dates at same rate, we refund minus a $150 admin fee. If partially re-booked, we refund at that rate minus $150 admin fee.
