Feel at home on the Gulf as you step into Summer House’s open concept living/kitchen/dining area. The fully equipped kitchen features granite counters, plenty of cabinet space, and everything you need to create and serve satisfying meals for your family…whether a quick, convenient lunch during a break from the beach or a gourmet culinary experience for a relaxing evening in.
Let the kids splash away in the PRIVATE, fenced, in-ground pool while you keep an eye on them from the living room and kitchen…or while grilling out (gas grill) right by the pool!
With tile and hardwood floors as well as 10’ – 14’ ceilings throughout, Summer House is spacious, light and airy. We want our guests to fully experience the coastal-living lifestyle inspired by the beautiful Florida panhandle. With that in mind, we carefully chose the furnishings, tapestries, and linens to reflect coastal beauty and to ensure your comfort.

The locals refer to the east end of the beach as “the quiet end of the beach”. But not to worry…quiet does not mean boring!
Walk or bike from Summer House to the must-see St. Andrews State Park (1/3 mile) nestled between the Gulf of Mexico and the Grand Lagoon. St. Andrews Park is the second most visited park in Florida and is the first park to win the prestigious Awards of being named the “Best State Park in Florida” twice in a row and the “Best Beach in America” by Dr. Beach.
In addition to being the area’s top spot for diving, snorkeling, and surfing, the Park also has an amazing variety of wildlife, from whitetail deer to alligators and even the occasional manatee! Anglers enjoy fishing from the Park’s two fishing piers, the bay-to-gulf fishing jetty, and two boat launches.
Nature lovers will also want to pay a visit to Shell Island for a day of shell collecting and dolphin sightings. The island is home to hundreds of species of plants and wildlife, including endangered sea turtles! From St. Andrews Park, take the shuttle or gather up to 10 people and enjoy the island at your own pace on a pontoon boat!
You will not lack for entertainment during your stay at Summer House! From live music and dancing…to dolphin excursions, boat charters, pontoon, and fishing boat rentals, and guided sailing cruises…to the SeaDragon Pirate Cruise – 2 hours of sight-seeing and non-stop activities for the kids are all conveniently located within one-quarter mile of Summer House.
For those simply wanting to play in the breath-taking, emerald water, you will find a kiteboarding shop and several dive shops along with numerous Jet Ski, kayak, canoe, and paddleboard rentals.
