The space
Perfect for entertaining, the dining room has French doors to a lush secluded garden patio. The gourmet kitchen has granite slab counters, breakfast bar, Sub Zero-like fridge and Thermador Professional gas range. Family room/den off the kitchen has a sleeping loft, and the first-floor bedroom (currently a home office with a sofabed) has French doors to a private backyard. There are two bedrooms with vaulted ceilings upstairs, one of which has French doors to an inviting balcony/patio. The bright upstairs bathroom has shower over tub and French doors to the balcony. Living room has a large queen-size sofabed. Come be a part of the stimulating lifestyle of downtown Palo Alto!

There are 3 traditional bedrooms. Two upstairs with traditional beds. Our downstairs bedroom has a sofa bed. The living room has huge really nice, upgraded mattress pullout sofa bed. All beds are "full" except the living room sofa bed (queen)

REGULAR MAINTENANCE:
Maintenance services already scheduled on a timely basis:
Landscaping schedule: Monday mornings
Trash and Recycling: Leave bins on curb Sunday evening for early Monday morning pick-up. Return bins to patio after pick up.

At no time should our scheduled vendors (maintenance, cleaning, trash, eg.) be turned away from the home. Such refusal to allow them to perform their services will result in a $100 fee.

A note about our cleaning and cleaning fees: When you book this property you are paying for a full cleaning following your departure. That also means you should expect a cleaned and prepared home prior to your arrival. Your cleaning fee however also covers other services, (depending on the street and city in which the home is located) but may include other items like outdoor areas, pools and/or hot tubs, laundry, wiping down of appliances and kitchen drawers and cabinets, vacuuming, dusting, wiping down windows, and generally what would be considered a complete house cleaning. Our fees are also paid in accordance with California wage and hour laws. We therefore have tax implications as do our cleaning vendors and as such our rates may be higher than what a person/private host may charge who does the work themselves and accepts payment under the table (and does not report earnings for tax purposes). Our cleaners also always show up and on time. We are paying them for that consistency as it means you should not ever walk into a home that has not been cleaned or cleaned poorly. We hope that helps add color on this portion of the reservation cost.
