This property offers one of the best locations in the Outer Banks for convenience and walking proximity to multiple activities and dining options. This property is unique is that it is located between the ocean and the sound with access to both.
From your unit you can walk to the Beach, Outdoor and Indoor pools, or you can walk to the village of Duck and shop or dine along the 1 mile boardwalk located along the sound. In the evening you can watch spectacular sunsets over the sound.
THE SPACE
This is a very large 2BR/2.5BA lock-off unit at approx. 1,500+ sq ft combined. So plenty of space for your family or guests. This unit is rated to sleep eight persons (8).
The A side has a King Size bed, Full Kitchen, Living Room area with Queen Sleeper sofa, Dining Area with chairs, and Deck with chairs.
The B side has a Queen Size bed, Partial Kitchen, Living Room area with Queen Sleeper sofa, and Deck with chairs.
There is a Washer / Dryer in foyer shared by A and B units.
GUEST ACCESS
Your unit is private, but since this is a resort, amenities will be shared with other guests (Pools, Hot Tub, Gym, Beach, Outdoor Games, etc).
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
- The Front Desk is staffed for Check-In, Check-Out, and any questions or need for assistance. They are there to help so please don't hesitate to contact them during your stay.
- Guest checking in must be at least 21 years of age with a valid ID and credit card for security deposit.
- There is no daily housekeeping provided. However your 2BR/2.5BA unit does have a Washer / Dryer in the Foyer area that is accessed by only your travel party. If additional housekeeping is desired during your stay it is available for an additional fee scheduled directly with the resort Front Desk.
- Two (2) Free parking passes are included with this unit. If you need a parking for an additional vehicle you can arrange this directly with the Front Desk.
- If you are interested in fishing while on vacation, there is Surf fishing out in front of the resort on the beach, or pier fishing from the pier on the ocean or the pier on the sound (both piers are very close to the property). You would just need to make sure you had the proper licenses though, which can be obtained easily locally. There is even a Super Wal-Mart when you first enter OBX at Kitty Hawk via Route 158, where local licenses can be purchased if needed. There are also many rental and charter boats for fishing based out of the various inlets if you wanted access to waters farther offshore.
- Once reservations are confirmed, you will be asked for the name and address of the main guest who will check in (the resort's Front Desk will also ask for this information when you check in, but obtaining this information beforehand will expedite the check in process) along with an email address to receive a personal confirmation.
THE NEIGHBORHOOD
This approx 12 acre property located on the outskirts of the Town of Duck is unique in OBX, as guests here have easy access to both Beach and Sound. The town of Duck is within walking distance or a quick bike ride or car ride away. The Town of Duck has a 1 mile boardwalk on the Sound that offers shops and dining.
Take a break from swimming in the ocean or large pools and visit the Snack Shack, the onsite grill and snack bar overlooking the pools and the ocean, for a quick snack or sandwich and a beverage of choice.
For lunch, dinner, or cocktails make sure to visit Sunset Grille and Raw Bar directly across the road from the resort for meal and a beverage of your choice. Grab a table or seat on the outdoor deck as the sun goes down over the sound. The views are outstanding.
