Palms LUX Folly Beach Condo. This place is amazing, super modern and ultra clean. Brand New place with brand new awesome furniture. It is 2 Bedroom 1 Bath unit with double doors that open onto Center St, a one block walk to the beach & over 20 shops, restaurants & bars. Excellent furnishings & a nice futon in the living room. You can also rent the back unit and there is an adjoining porch so you can combine the places and now have a 4 Bedroom, 2 Bath place that can very comfortably sleep 8 people and could handle up to 12 people with utilizing very nice futons. Also NOTE this is a NO PETS unit so it is very clean and safe for those with pet allergies!
The beach is less than a 5 minute, one block walk to the beach and totally walking distance to everything else that Folly Beach has to offer. There are over 20 shops, cafes, restaurants and bars that you can walk right out to and there is a 24 hour market one block away as well as a gas station convenience store within walking distance. The Palms LUX Folly Beach Condos is located above the Palms Resort Wear Shop and has two sets of french doors that open up to Center St which is where all the action is and a great spot to enjoy the local parades, events and just in general a fun Friday night.
This property is located in the heart of downtown Folly Beach and even though it is well insulated and is actually fairly quiet with all the windows shut, please be aware that on the weekends in particular, you will most likely hear sounds of nightlife. That said, this may not be ideal for families with small children or light sleepers. We do have white noise machines in the rooms to help with this too. If you like a more Urban feel where you can park once and walk everywhere then the Palms LUX Folly Beach Condo is where you should consider staying.
Historic Downtown Charleston is only about a 25 minute car ride away and Charleston is a very Uber friendly city and rides to downtown Charleston can be easily arranged.
***Please be aware that this property is nestled in the business district and surrounded by restaurants and bars. Sounds of nightlife will be heard. Also note that this property is only accessible by a flight of stairs. There is no ramp or elevator access***
PARKING: ONLY 1 Parking Space Provided. There is also plenty of free street parking and pay lots just a block away. If you are going to have more than 1 car let us know ASAP so we can help you with an extra spot. The spot has a unit sign on it located in the alley that runs behind the building next to the recycle cans.
