Super Cute Condo in the Mariners Cay Development on the Folly River with recent upgrades and beautiful views, especially at sunset! This home away from home is an easy walk to Center Street and only a 20 minute drive to all the charm and history of Downtown Charleston.
Mariners Cay is a gated community with a large pool, community grill and pavilion, tennis courts, fishing dock and beautiful grounds. We are located right over the last bridge to Folly Island where all the cute shops and unique and exceptional restaurants are only a short stroll over the lovely Folly River Bridge. The beach and famous Folly Pier are only a 10 - 15 minute walk over the same bridge and everything is a very easy bike ride away if you bring or rent bikes.
The Unit is located on the river side of the island with SPECTACULAR river views and is right across from the pool. Inside you will find a full kitchen well stocked with cookware and basics like coffee filters, tinfoil, some spices and all the kitchen essentials needed to cook most types of meals. The living room has a big, comfy couch and 2 chairs with a large flat screen tv with good cable and wifi. The farmhouse dining room table seats 6, and there is a table outside on the patio to enjoy a meal or coffee while watching the dolphin play. There is a convenient half bath downstairs and the sofa pulls out to a full size bed. There is a large screened porch downstairs with lovely views of the river and amazing sunsets.
Upstairs you will find 2 full baths with shower/tub combos, a master bedroom with King Size Bed, large TV and a balcony with sunset and river views. There are 2 brand new extra large twin beds in the second bedroom. Linens and a mattress topper for the pullout couch can be found in the second bedroom closet.
We have a professional cleaning service that does an excellent job! They are actually the best service on the island and provide fresh linens and towels, superb cleaning and all the sundries items like TP, paper towels, soap and coffee fixings that you might need. Although we do have to charge a cleaning fee please know that this company really does a great job. We look forward to hosting you!
