Ashleyrose on the River

Welcome to Ashleyrose on the River! Our spacious cabin provides the best of both worlds with mountain views and over 200 feet of riverfront. Nestled between the Shenandoah Mountains and George Washington National Forest, Ashleyrose provides a great outdoors experience, romantic getaway, or much-deserved escape from the daily grind. You will find that this house has everything that you will need: four bedrooms and three full baths, a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, fireplace and wood burning stove, several outside decks, a screened porch, an in-ground pool and a floating deep-water river dock on the Shenandoah River.

Enjoy mountain breezes on the screened in porch, and roast some marshmallows over the fire pit while taking in the starry nights. Enjoy fishing and evening shadows on our floating dock while a campfire burns and family and friends enjoy kayaks and canoeing on the river. For those city slickers who avoid the river, relax next to the in-ground pool, or nap on the hammock while the kids enjoy the 5 ft. Typhoon slide. The game room basement features a wet bar, big screen TV, wood burning stove and combination 6’ pool/air hockey table.

Ashleyrose is located approximately 90 miles west of Washington D.C. and just 8 miles from the city of Luray and Luray Caverns - the largest caverns on the East Coast. You will find, hiking trails, river activities, scenic views on Skyline Drive, zip lining and mountain vineyards all with 30 minutes.
 

Sleeps up to 12 (Maximum 8 adults, up to 4 additional children allowed)

Quiet time is from 11pm to 7am. This property is located atop the hill from the river and sound carries a good ways. We ask that you be courteous of the neighbors that live here as well as the other guests visiting and please adhere to this rule. Thank You
