About Gene Pfeiffer Our extended family with 6 grandchildren has enjoyed the cabin for years and we are now sharing the enjoyment with others. Gene Pfeiffer purchased this Cabin in 1966 Why Gene Pfeiffer chose Groveland My parents first came to this area in 1926 and now our six Grandchildren are enjoying the experience of a cabin in the woods. What makes this Cabin unique Our family has enjoyed swimming, fishing, mountain and road biking, and relaxing around the firepit in the evening. We also like to drive to Tuolumne Meadows in Yosemite National Park for hiking in the high sierras.
