Rock Haul Lakefront cabin with kitchen and balcony Welcome to Deep Creek Lake, Maryland. Rock Haul overlooks Deep Creek Lake and accommodates up to 12 persons. It is family and pet friendly (with fee). It is located on a lovely wooded lot with a view of the lake from the large covered porch. The dock slip accommodates one boat at a community dock. It has 3 levels, with 2 bedrooms and a recreation room on the lower level, living, dining, and kitchen on main level, and 4 bedrooms above. There is a bath on each level. Outside is picnic and fire pit area with gas and charcoal grills. Rock Haul is available for rent year-round for you to enjoy the many activities available at beautiful Deep Creek Lake - boating, swimming, fishing, skiing (downhill and cross country), hiking, horseback riding, or just relaxing. These properties are near to Maryland's premier State parks - Deep Creek Lake, Swallow Falls, Harrington Manor, New Germany, and the beautiful and rugged Savage River State Forest. Wisp Ski Resort and the Outdoor Adventure Center with its manmade whitewater course is within 15 -20 min. Deep Creek Lake Cabins by John and Kathy Joyce I live near Annapolis, MD with my wife Kathy, where we enjoy sailing, gardening, hiking, and cross country skiing. I am a retired teacher and Maryland State environmental manager. Why they chose this propertyWe bought this property at Deep Creek because of our interest in cross county skiing and teaching people the sport. The many recreational activities on the lake and many State Parks and Forests in the area make it an ideal vacation spot. We had the house built, and now rent it after we have retired. It was designed to accommodate a large group of people comfortably. What makes this property uniqueThe house has a beautiful view of the lake from the covered porch which covers the main floor facing the lake. The lake front across the cove from us is kept in natural forest and will never be developed. We have a boat slip at a community dock in front of the house where you can swim and fish.
