This extraordinary new property is located on a ridge 45 feet above the Caribbean. The views of both oceans are truly breathtaking. From your large windows and extensive decks, you can watch the sun rise over the Atlantic and set over the Caribbean. Both views are vast and spectacular with sparkling sea as far as the eye can see up and down the coast.

Buttonwood Reserve has access to two beaches. On the Atlantic side, Buttonwood has a world-class, 3-mile-long pink-sand beach, pristine, without a single house on it. This Atlantic side beach is accessed via our private, golf-carts only driveway. The condominium comes with a fleet of golf carts. This miles-long beach is virtually private for us, because the only other access is a rough and little used jeep track half a mile to the south. On the Caribbean side of our property, almost in your front yard, is a second beach, which has excellent snorkeling, kayaking, paddle boarding, and fishing. This beach is small and rather rocky, so not so aesthetic, but it’s as calm as a lake most of the time and perfect for the above activities.

The Caribbean side also features our new 70 foot boat dock for boating, fishing, and jumping in the water.

If you’re not in the mood for a swim in the ocean on one of our two beaches, slip into our new resort-style pool, just steps from your condominium. This beautiful landscaped pool is heated for comfortable swimming year round.

Buttonwood Reserve consist of eight 2-bedroom, 2-bath condos with full kitchens. We are in the process of building an optional main lodge (completion July of 2020), which will be a central gathering place for this property! It will include a large ocean-view living area, dining area, and kitchen, where large groups can gather for dining and leisure time.

Each condo features a large great room with an 8-foot sliding glass door with spectacular Caribbean views. The slider opens onto a large deck furnished for lounging or dining while watching the sun set over the Caribbean. This spacious deck extends around the corner of the building for views in every direction. Enjoy a meal or a beverage on the deck, or watch the dolphins frolic in the Caribbean. The great room includes a living area with flat-screen satellite TV and a dining area with seating for six. The east end of the great room features a modern, open-plan, luxurious kitchen finished in stainless steel and black granite. The kitchen, dining area, and living room have magnificent ocean views in every direction.

The master bedroom of each condo features a large upholstered window seat with panoramic views of the Caribbean, a perfect spot to relax with a book or a morning coffee. The master is furnished with a king bed and equipped with an en-suite full bath. The master has a private door leading to the west deck over the Caribbean.

The guest bedroom of each condo also features a large window seat. The guest bedrooms of the upper two suites enjoy spectacular Atlantic Ocean views. The guest bedroom has a full en-suite bath (which can be accessed from the hall as well). The guest bedroom is furnished with twin beds that can be converted into a king.

Situated on 50 lush acres, Buttonwood Reserve extends from the Caribbean Sea on the west to the Atlantic Ocean on the east. Buttonwood’s spectacular three-mile Atlantic beach is pristine, without a single house on it. The only structures are the thatched palapas built on the dune and beach for shade. Enjoy long walks, swimming, and body surfing on this beautiful beach. On windy days there will be waves. On calm days, when the ocean can be as flat as a lake, there is excellent snorkeling, including on a shipwreck close to shore.

Buttonwood Reserve comes with kayaks and a paddle board. Bicycles are also provided for riding to the nearby village, less than a mile away, which has two grocery stores and several small restaurants and take outs. The new LeoRose Beachfront Bar and Grll is just half a mile away. The main town, Governors Harbour, is just 15 minutes away.
