The owners live next door if you need them, but you won't see them if you don't want to.

Food stores and restaurants are a few miles away, close, yet far enough away from your quietness. There is excellent new oceanfront restaurant in Savannah Sound, about eight minutes away by car, called Fishbone Beach Bar and Grill, which is open year-round.

Ten Bay Beach, a beautiful mile-long pristine beach, is just a mile away.

Governors Harbour, the main town on the island, is just 15 minutes by car from the property. Governors Harbour has grocery stores, restaurants, liquor stores, two banks with ATMs, a bakery, gift shops, a dive shop, and a medical clinic. It has a nice little collection of 19th century homes and churches overlooking a picturesque harbor. You can buy fresh fish and lobster every afternoon from fisherman at the town dock. Friday night Fish Fry in Governors Harbour is a street/beach party that brings together all the tourists and locals with food, drink, and dancing in the street. You won’t want to miss it.

We have 4 sets of snorkel gear in a variety of sizes, an assortment of hand fishing lines with gear, 2 pots for bottom fishing, 2 single kayaks, beach chairs, beach umbrella, a cooler and small Weber grill. There's also a stackable washer and dryer. We just installed a brand new generator to keep the house running and our guests comfortable during power outages. There is a back-up water supply as well.
