Most of your shopping would be in Wallace, just 6 minutes away on I-90.

Mullan is a small, friendly city, located in the mountain of North Idaho. Access is easy, as it is located directly on I-90.
It is only 6 miles from Montana, and there are 2 ski areas close by.

I'm retired and we enjoy living here because this is a friendly town, and the scenery here is beautiful! Life here is good and we enjoy sharing this wonderful town and area with visitors. Fred Manthey purchased this House in 2012 Why Fred Manthey chose Mullan Entire house available to rent - enjoy your privacy! Nicely updated and maintained cozy cottage in a small historic mining town with two fireplaces, full kitchen, pool table and many other great amenities. Whether you are staying for a few days or a month, you'll feel at home in our small town, as your base to explore all that North Idaho has to offer! What makes this House unique Mullan is a small, friendly town, centrally located to four-season fun places to explore the great outdoors and the Idaho Panhandle National Forest. From hiking and biking trails in the summer to skiing and snowshoeing in the winter, or even rainy day bowling or indoor swimming, there is much to see and do in this central location. Explore mining ghost towns, visit nearby hot springs, sample local breweries and wine bars, tour the oldest building in Idaho, or go underground to tour a real silver or gold mine! So much to do!
