About Lance Peto Although born & raised in Canada, I discovered Kauai in 1969 & fell in love with this tropical paradise. We had a home in Kalaheo, 15 minutes to the beach & when this property became available I jumped at the opportunity to purchase it. The previous owners were born & raised here & transformed the home & gardens into 'Eden'. The family spent every day at the beach, returning home to relax in this serene, peaceful beautiful setting Why Lance Peto chose Poipu This home was passed down from Hawaiian family to Hawaiian family. Now we want other families to enjoy the relaxing and carefree beach home and get a glimpse of what its like to get back to the basics....time with family & enjoy the Hawaiian era of days gone by. We remodeled the cottages, brought in custom Tommy Bahama furnishings, rugs & artwork and connected the lanais & removed a barrier fence separating the cottages. It is now easy to mingle & stay connected with the entire family and yet you can escape to your own cottage for quiet time or to get away. We added air conditioning & there are ceiling fans in every room to enhance the tropical feel. We recently repaired the swimming pool which is a tremendous asset for the property. It is fenced & gated , out of sight & yet set in a secluded tropical setting.
