The owners have kept much of the charm of the old home while providing modern amenities, bright & light, airy rooms, and everything you might need for a get-away weekend or a long Winter stay.

Within walking distance of historic downtown Gulfport which has become a hot spot for eateries, pubs, a micro-brewery, coffee shops, great seafood restaurants, museums, & the now famous Fishbone Alley, you will have most everything within a few blocks. Bring your bikes, or rent some for your daily jaunts.

There are multiple parks that are perfect for the little ones. At Jones Park at the Gulfport Harbor--just 3 blocks away--is a great play area, Splash Pad, and movie nights in the summer. The new Aquarium will be 4 blocks away, the sugar-white sand beach is just 2 short blocks away-easy walking.

The child in everyone will enjoy the train and waving to the conductor. It is a toss-up whether the children, the adults, or the conductor enjoy it more! The nostalgic feelings that are brought up in many visitors can be supplemented with a trip to the free Model Train Museum. Little ones can get a ride on the train--a great picture opportunity. The alcove bedroom with extra-long twin beds is built to resemble a train berth and a ship berth just to carry the theme a bit further. What fun!!

The festival of Lights takes place at Christmas in Jones Park at the Harbor with on of the largest light displays and walking tracks in the South. It was even featured heavily in a Hallmark Christmas movie. Again, it is an easy walk to experience this Winter Wonderland-Southern Style!

There is a grill and and outdoor table to sit in the shade an enjoy a quiet afternoon. Or, you can walk like your neighbors in the quiet of the evening, while sipping on ice-cold Sweet Tea.
