This cottage is reserved for truly married couples. We feel privileged to honor what we believe to be God’s definition of marriage.
We define true marriage as “one woman for one man for life” precluding same-sex and unmarried relationships and also those who are divorced (for any reason) and remarried with a former living spouse.
This cottage is suitable for only two people. Nursing babies, no problem! Accommodations are not suitable for toddlers and children.
No Pets.
If early check-in or late check-out is desired, please let us know ahead of time and we will try to accommodate you. Obviously, this is not always possible, but if it is, we'd be happy to accommodate you in that way. We respect the investment of time and resources into your relationship and will accommodate your schedule the best that our schedule allows.

Only PA sales and Lancaster hotel taxes totaling 7.1% are added to pricing below.

Please note: Weekends begin on Friday at 4 pm and end on Monday at 11 am.
There is no discount for only staying 2 nights instead of 3 nights; it's the same price.
***A Thursday and Friday night stay is an extra charge of 50.00 for the Friday night and is only available if the Sat through Sunday or Monday is already rented.
*One night is (normally) available only when the nights on either side are already taken.
Five and six nights is the one-week rate with a slight discount depending on which nights are taken out of the weekend.

** 7-day rate applies to stays that begin and end on a weeknight. For example, Monday-Monday or Friday-Friday.
Arriving Saturday would require check-out Friday.

The Little Stone Cottage by Roman or Lucy This romantic getaway is an ideal place for honeymoons and anniversaries, and truly a place you'll want to come back to. The vaulted bedroom ceiling with exposed beams and skylight is uniquely distinctive. There is many good books about marriage and intimacy here plus many short articles designed to spark discussion as couples read them to each other. In the stone basement an old original gas fireplace and comfy sofa beckons you to sit by the fire. The romantic bedroom suite features a comfortable king-size bed with a partial canopy. The fully equipped kitchen makes in-house meal preparation easy. There is a massage table for you to enjoy together. Celebrate your marriage with a romantic getaway by pampering and romancing your life-mate; that’s what this place does well. Take time to read a book from our large selection or many of the short articles on marriage to each other. Reminisce about your earlier days as a couple or just bask in togetherness. Plan and prepare special meals and serve them formal or casual as you are renewed and blessed by God’s special provision for married couples. We believe that marriage was created by God, and His perfect design is one woman for one man for life. Our desire to strengthen and bless marriages that honor the wise Creator’s design and a romantic night away is a wonderful time to do that! At this romantic getaway the ways to relax and rejuvenate are countless! You can eat on the back deck, relax in the hot tub and count the stars, or sit on the patio and enjoy the view of the tastefully landscaped backyard with a small pond or watch the neighboring Amish children play. You can use the bikes to ride around the many Amish farms and businesses within a mile or two of the cottage.
