Prior to renovating my first vacation property, the Violet House, I enjoyed renting out my personal residence every spring and fall for the International Home Furnishings Market. This event brings over 70 thousand exhibitors and attendees to our city twice every year in addition to many professionals in between. You will find my vacation homes to be clean, cozy, and private. High Point is a treasure chest of beautifully crafted furniture and accessories and my cottages are filled with original pieces from many local thrift stores, estate sales, Habit for Humanity restore, and market showrooms/outlets.I love beautiful fabrics and art and have an abundance in every room. HIGH POINT, NC VACATION RENTALThere are large, secluded backyards with room to spread out and enjoy grilling or the firepit.The kitchens are fully stocked and have accommodated many Thanksgiving gatherings and celebratory meals.You will find ceiling fans in all rooms and there are Roku tv’s in the bedrooms and living rooms.All homes have lockboxes/keys on the doors for guest entry. The locations are all within 2 miles of the HPU campus and downtown. Uptown Oasis is within walking distanceto the furniture market, Qubein Children Museum, Rockers Stadium, HP Hospital, Brown Truck Brewery, Congdon Yards, Krispy Kreme, Farmers Market, and YWCA. Campus Charmer is directly across from the new Arena and Conference Center at HPU.All houses have off-street parking for up to 4 vehicles. There has been amazing growth and wonderful additions to our city in the past 20 years.We are so blessed to have High Point University! Dr. Nido Qubein and his community have influenced the addition of many wonderful restaurants, shops, attractions, and venues beyond the incredible presence they have on campus. High Point University is a “God Country Family” institution and represents everything good in America. The beauty of the campus: the buildings, the gardens, the flags, the statues, the fountains, and the students bring our residents visual joy. The faculty provides an outstanding education and valuable “life skills” training. My husband is an alumnus of High Point College and we are enthusiastic Panther Club members. We enjoy many sporting events year-round.I am always proud to introduce guests and visitors to our extraordinary High Point University and I love hosting my HPU families. I am happy to work with you for longer-term rentals if needed. I have enjoyed meeting so many visitors in the past 10 years.
