When you fancy a cosy night in, the well-equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare and cook something delicious, perhaps some fresh, locally caught fish. Then drift off to sleep beneath crisp sheets in the charmingly rustic double bedroom, and dream of Cornish adventures to come.

Pop your walking boots on and trek the beautiful wooded Valency Valley, just 3 miles from the cottage or immerse yourself in the history, myths and stunning scenery at Tintagel, 4 miles away, where a visit to its legendary castle and St Nectan's Glen are a must. For more beaches, shops, eateries and galleries, the popular fishing town of Port Isaac is 13.5 miles and Padstow is 25 miles away, which is worth the visit for Rick Stein's fish and chips alone.
